I’m Theo, a London-based graphic designer who operates under the studio name ‘Open Vault’.

My practise spans branding, typography as well as motion graphics. I’ve worked on concepts and visual outcome, in some cases alongside pre-existing brand guidelines. 

My work began with creating album and promotional designs for UK-based artists, but as as my practise continues I’m drawn to design within fashion and sport, specifically the NBA but Im always looking to expand my work to other fields. 

I'm interested in how strong visual identities can effect marketing, digital experiences, and promotional design.

My work is primarily digital, while I've also been developing skills in motion graphics though I also explore analogue methods where appropriate, such as hand-drawn elements. 

I think design has the ability to evoke different ideas, emotions and persectives; therefore I don’t want my practise to be used for the purpose of discriminatory hate or violence; whether that is for government, private or military organisations.
